Terms of use

Last updated 4 October 2026

The rules for using KAIZONE, in plain English. Please read the health and safety section before you start training.

1About these terms

These terms apply when you use KAIZONE. KAIZONE is run by Matthew Wildig, a sole trader trading as KAIZONE, based in Diss, Norfolk, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at hello@kaizone.co.uk.

By creating an account or using KAIZONE you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we use your information.

2Who can use KAIZONE

You must be 18 or over to use KAIZONE.

3What KAIZONE is

KAIZONE is a self-guided tool for planning and tracking your training, mobility and nutrition. It provides general information only. It isn’t personalised, professional, medical, physiotherapy or dietary advice, and it doesn’t replace a doctor, dietitian or qualified coach. KAIZONE doesn’t provide personal coaching.

4Your health and safety

  • Answer the health check honestly. If it suggests checking with a doctor, do that before you start.
  • Speak to a doctor before starting if you’re pregnant, have a medical condition or injury, or take medication that affects exercise.
  • Warm up, use weights you can control with good form, and build up gradually.
  • Stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or unusual shortness of breath, and get medical help if you need it.
  • Calorie and macro targets are estimates from standard equations, and food values vary by brand and portion. KAIZONE isn’t suitable for managing a medical condition or an eating disorder. If that applies to you, please speak to your GP.

All exercise carries some risk of injury. You decide what you do and how hard you train.

5Your account

Give accurate details, keep your password private, and don’t share your account. Each account is for one person. If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and tell us.

6Your data and backups

Most of your data is stored on your phone, as the privacy policy explains. Browsers can delete stored website data. If backup is off, export a backup file regularly from Profile & settings. We can’t recover data that was deleted from your phone and wasn’t backed up.

7Price

KAIZONE is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we’ll show you the price and terms clearly before you buy. You’ll never be charged without agreeing to it.

8Using KAIZONE fairly

Please don’t:

  • try to get into other people’s accounts or data
  • interfere with or overload the service
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows
  • use KAIZONE for anything unlawful

9Our content

The KAIZONE name, logo, app, design, exercise information and recipes belong to Matthew Wildig. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use of KAIZONE.

Food product information comes from Open Food Facts contributors and is available under the Open Database Licence.

10Changes and availability

KAIZONE is in beta, so features may change and the app may sometimes be unavailable. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes. If we ever close KAIZONE, we’ll give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

11Ending your use

You can stop using KAIZONE and delete your account at any time in Profile & settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we can, we’ll tell you why.

12Our responsibility to you

  • If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we’re responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable.
  • We don’t exclude or limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, and your legal rights as a consumer.
  • We’re not responsible for injury or loss that wasn’t caused by our negligence or by our breaking these terms. For example, we’re not responsible if you train beyond your ability or ignore the safety guidance above.
  • KAIZONE is for personal use. We’re not responsible for business losses, such as lost profits or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. For advice on them, contact Citizens Advice.

13Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the app. If you don’t agree to a change, you can delete your account.

14Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be taken to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
